About The Position

This role is a full-time, permanent position with an annual salary range of $65,000 - $70,000, based on experience. The work schedule is Sunday to Thursday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with 10-20% travel required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year or more of experience driving various PIT equipment
  • Intermediate user-level knowledge of Windows and MS Office

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
  • 3 years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field
  • 1 year or more in Training / Leadership background

Responsibilities

  • Administer on-the-job training and powered industrial truck (PIT) training to new and existing employees, including cross-training, to meet site productivity and quality goals.
  • Update and maintain existing training documents and create new training documents for various departments and job functions.
  • Complete Human Resource paperwork and other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.
  • Coordinate with Group Manager Logistics for appropriate staffing levels.
  • Direct staff in the development, analysis, and performance of job tasks.
  • Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist staff to resolve complex or out-of-policy operation problems.
  • Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation.
  • Coach and provide career development advice to staff.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments/rotations, employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignments, and backup for absent employees.
  • Perform standard work audits with new and existing employees to ensure adherence to process.
  • Coordinate safety activities for the site by working with the Safety Manager to ensure safety training is current, including OSHA and forklift training.
  • Evaluate department processes and recommend/coordinate needed changes based on process analysis.
  • Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Communicate with other Supervisors and Managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
