The Trainer will be responsible for providing departmental Safety and Training expertise and support for approximately 25 temporary associates. This role involves driving safety as the number one priority, serving as a role model, and performing various safety-related tasks such as quality observations and problem-solving sessions. The Trainer will also be responsible for creating and updating work standards, developing training videos, and conducting weekly safety gembas. In terms of training, the role requires adherence to standard training guidelines, including OSHA-required safety training, LOTO authorized training, powered industrial equipment certification, platform-specific safety and GMP training, and job-specific certification. The Trainer will train and certify trainees, document all training activities, ensure training files meet standards, and provide coaching to associates. Additionally, the role involves assisting in developing training standards for departments and sites, supporting site-wide communications, and serving as a witness for counseling sessions.
