About The Position

The Warehouse Trainer role at NOTS Logistics is an opportunity to join a company with a strong family culture that values hard work, professionalism, and innovation. This position is responsible for providing instruction and training to new hires and assigned associates, ensuring they are competent in their job tasks and adhere to company policies and safety standards. The role also involves assisting with daily floor activities, maintaining warehouse standards, and acting as a representative of NOTS Logistics.

  • Must meet OSHA Standards outlined in section 1910.178 if training on Powered Industrial Trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and training to New Hires and all assigned associates.
  • Train and develop New Hires assigned to their department.
  • Review all Work Instructions applicable to the department with New Employees.
  • Ensure employees are competent at their Job Task by completing a Competency Evaluation.
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with Company HR and Safety Policies.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  • If assigned to train employees on Powered Industrial Trucks, must meet OSHA Standards outlined in section 1910.178.
  • Responsible for compliance with warehouse housekeeping and 5S procedures at all times while in the facility.
  • Adhere to the NLGA Code of Ethics and Business Conduct at all times. Acts as a representative of NOTS Logistics and TNA at all times while on duty.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
  • Conduct audits in Repack and Order Fulfillment when New Hire Training isn't taking place.
