Performs duties associated with warehouse inventory disbursements and receiving. This is a part-time, temporary position. Anticipated start date: October 5, 2026 (flexible). Anticipated end date: December 18, 2026 (flexible). Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, receiving warehouse orders in Workday Inventory, processing requests, and delivering stock to departments. Entering disbursements into Workday Inventory to ensure items are disbursed to proper accounts and projects. Checking and monitoring stock levels to determine inventory level and creating purchase orders to restock warehouse inventory stock items. Processing incoming stock by inspecting conditions of items, performing operations checks on equipment, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing listings, noting/resolving discrepancies, correcting shortages and obtaining credits, entering stock received into Workday inventory tracking system, and ensuring the payment process is initiated. Performing warehouse facility duties, including cleaning, making minor repairs, organizing stock and non-stock items, clerical duties, and ensuring the facility follows safety codes. Contacting vendors to get pricing on different products for purchasing, using bid sheets to get pricing from current vendors, and contacting vendors regarding past due deliveries. Processing pick tickets for all orders requested in Workday Inventory. Processing weekly deliveries including janitorial materials. Maintaining safety compliance guidelines in all City Warehouses. Performing other work as assigned.
