About The Position

This position is for a Warehouse Technician in the Shipping and Receiving department. The role involves handling parts, operating various warehouse equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed. This is an onsite position located in Canton, OH.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move parts up to 75 pounds in weight unassisted.
  • Ability to pull/push and slide parts up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, twist and reach into 48” deep locations.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk 100% of the work schedule.
  • Ability to safely operate and/or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, heavy duty pneumatic staple guns, compactors, dock levelers, etc.
  • Ability to operate stand-up reach lifts, rated at 4,000 lbs lifting capacity.
  • Ability to operate man-up order picker to a height of 22ft. rated at 3,000 lbs lifting capacity.
  • Maintain housekeeping requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement program (TOS) and responsible for coming up with ideas / suggestions for improvement.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.

  • Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application.
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check.
  • Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Stoop, bend, twist and reach into 48” deep locations to pull or stock truck parts.
  • Stand and/or walk 100% of the work schedule, with exception to break and lunch times.
  • Safely operate and/or work in the vicinity of various equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, heavy duty pneumatic staple guns, compactors, and dock levelers.
  • Operate stand-up reach lifts (4,000 lbs capacity) and man-up order pickers (3,000 lbs capacity) to a height of 22ft.
  • Maintain housekeeping requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group.
  • Work flexible hours.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement program (TOS) and provide ideas/suggestions for improvement.
