About The Position
Manages all aspects of the procurement and logistics activities for Pro-Vigil US and ensures coordination with procurement activities which may originate from Pro-Vigil India. Assists in the contractual management of 3rd party support & service contracts. Responsible organizing and prioritizing critical procurement information, issues, communication and specific project management activities between Engineering, Project Management, Field Services, Production and Accounting. Acts as a knowledge consultant contact point between the sales organization and the operations organization.
Requirements
- 5 years prior experience working in a comparable role in a similar industry is required.
- Ability to use a personal computer and software such as Google suite, Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), email.
Nice To Haves
- Procurement continuing education courses preferred.
- Spanish oral proficiency preferred.
- Knowledge on Netsuite and Salesforce software is a plus.
- Procurement certification (APICS) – CSCP or CPSM preferred.
Responsibilities
- Continuously have an understanding of demand to determine how many units are needing to be built and shipped on a weekly basis.
- Continuously analyze demand vs. inventory to stay ahead of daily unit requests
- Maintain clear communication with Inventory Control Specialist and Project Managers
- Manually assemble any unit from refurbished parts - may sometimes include troubleshooting, battery testing, configurations, cleaning and painting.
- Perform quality inspections for functionality and visual appearance on all units assembled
- Assist with all warehouse duties as needed. i.e. breaking down boxes, offloading returned units, empty trash cans, and recycling appropriate materials.
- Work closely with all members of the production team to ensure all requests are efficiently filled in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Flexibility and willingness to accept changing priorities as required.
- Perform all work related activities in a safe manner consistent with Pro-Vigil’s zero accident policy.
