Requirements

  • Team-focused approach and willingness to exchange and share information with coworkers as well as follow verbal and written instructions provided by production lead
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to focus on counting products accurately with weigh counting scales
  • Strong addition and multiplication skills
  • Willingness to work voluntary/mandatory overtime when business dictates
  • Repetitively lift 10+ pounds
  • Occasionally lift up to 35 pounds
  • Stand/walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Bend, stoop, twist, reach
  • Operate motorized equipment safely

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in picking/packing/warehouse environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Training in JD Edwards ERP system which is used to advance orders through various stages of production and shipping
  • Understanding of part numbers
  • Accurate matching of visual information on packing lists with customer specific requirements and product labels
  • Quality inspection of incoming parts
  • Maintaining inventory control accuracy standards
  • Assisting with material handling of product received and placing in appropriate pick locations
