About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm in North America, is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our team in Somerville! We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to take on the role of Warehouse Technician. In this position, you will manage the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks, and handle additional tasks as assigned by the manager. Triumvirate provides leading institutions in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors with diverse services and advice to assist them with compliance management. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is primarily based onsite in Somerville, MA, with occasional work required in Lowell, MA.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Manual driving experience
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in warehouse operations, including truck loading
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
  • The Warehouse Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior relevant industry experience
  • Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
  • Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, drum trucks, and occasionally forklifts
  • Assist drivers by loading staged supplies and verifying their accuracy during the loading process
  • Manage Shipping and Receiving tasks
  • Distribute critical supplies to clients when needed
  • Perform snow removal from trucks and property
  • Work closely with Logistics, Compliance, and Mechanics to ensure trucks have necessary permits and are fully operational
  • Any other tasks required to support warehouse and logistics operations
