About The Position

This position works independently in the receiving, distribution, and inventory control of parts, equipment, tools, and other supplies. The role involves managing inventory, operating material handling equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and communicating with various departments. Data entry into Oracle is a key part of tracking inventory and shipments. Safety compliance and adherence to company policies are paramount.

Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record to meet the requirements to be an eligible user of company vehicles.
Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Able to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays and shift rotations.
High school Diploma or GED
Must be able to demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment and materials.
Knowledge of the mining industry underground environment
Knowledge and understanding of mine regulations pertaining to construction in mining.
Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
High level of attention to detail, neatness and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work of this class.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices is helpful.
Proficiency with Oracle or the ability to learn

Responsibilities

Receiving and Storing Goods: Unpacking, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Inventory Management: Tracking inventory levels, verifying accuracy, and participating in cycle counts to maintain inventory records.
Operating Equipment: Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintaining Order: Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Data Entry: Entering information into Oracle to track inventory and shipments.
Communication: Interacting with co-workers and different departments to ensure they receive their parts & ordered items.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform Field Level Risk Assessments.
Comply with daily, weekly and monthly safety directives, policies, and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information.
Comply with and ensure compliance with Redpath’s Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals, handbooks, directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Compliance with Redpath Core Competencies is an essential duty and responsibility.
Assist other job functions as required.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate work with co-workers of various departments.
