Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in aviation.
Experience with a computerized inventory system is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Aviation-related training and/or education is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Examine inbound shipments for accuracy and condition, sort shipments, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of all materials.
Receive and transact parts into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Avmax policies and procedures.
Create and maintain delivery logs and receiving records upon receipt of aircraft materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
Report unserviceable parts and components to the Cores Receiver and Receiving Supervisor.
Route parts to stock locations or for intercompany transfer in accordance with Avmax procedures.
Ensure physical inventory counts of aviation parts and equipment match ERP system records.
Maintain an organized receiving bay and warehouse area by offloading trucks and facilitating distribution activities.
Consolidate storage locations and reorganize materials to optimize warehouse space, updating the ERP system as required.
Mitigate the risk of loss or damage by properly packing, handling, and storing materials.
Provide ongoing support to the Warehouse team and assist with picking, receiving inspections, outbound shipping, and distribution activities as required.
Assist with training and support the development needs of other team members as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the development of process efficiencies.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report any safety concerns to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
