Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician- Federal to join our Records Management team in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for the secure handling, shelving, and retrieval of customer storage boxes, ensuring the safety and integrity of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding environment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and perform repetitive motions, including climbing, stooping, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Basic knowledge of computer-related equipment, internet usage, and data entry.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills with an eagle eye for detail.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a Public Trust / VA Clearance.
  • Must have at least one form of Federal Identification (e.g. Passport, Passport Card, Military ID, or State Issued Real ID (Gold Start)

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming orders by scanning carton barcodes and locations using the Safekeeper system; retrieve and return an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily.
  • Load and unload trailers, move, weigh, and sort items, and prepare specific boxes for destruction or shredding.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while strictly adhering to organizational standards to ensure the total security of customer information.
  • Safely operate industry tools and warehouse equipment to disassemble items and manage high-volume inventory.
