About The Position

An Industrial Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.

Requirements

  • Attention to Detail - Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.
  • Initiative - Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until the situation demands action.
  • Ability to effectively complete mechanical or electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
  • Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibly follow all procedures & policies regarding repairs & maintenance.
  • Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Supports high performance in a professional healthcare & hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention.
  • Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
  • Ability to trouble shoot any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
  • Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
  • Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)

  • Participate fully in company health and safety programs and comply with all company OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules.
  • Wear and / or use Personal Protective Equipment, when and how instructed.
  • Report hazardous conditions to management.
  • Report any job-related injury or illness to management and seek treatment promptly.
  • Other duties as requested.
