About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Tech in Jacksonville, Florida. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay, and the employer is willing to train suitable candidates. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with opportunities for career growth. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., with four days on and three days off. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. A seven-year background check and drug test are conducted before employment. The role involves collecting and disposing of packing materials, cleaning floors and other areas, emptying trash, handling cleaning chemicals, maintaining janitorial equipment, and operating specialized waste-processing equipment. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying building and weather conditions. The job requires extensive walking and standing, as well as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, reaching, and using stairs. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other materials from designated gaylords and bins.
Clean various flooring surfaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, diluted, and used.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Help prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing policy violators of applicable policies and procedures.
Identify and implement projects to improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
Follow and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
