About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. It may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, an essential responsibility, and restock them with necessary supplies.
Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to proper procedures to avoid damaging surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management when building systems need repairs or additions.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
