About The Position
Member of the Sourcing Department at Cumberland Mine whose responsibilities include receiving and issuing material and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in operating and maintaining a safe and clean work area. This position assists mine management in fulfilling all of their daily needs. Also includes handling emergency purchases during other than normal business hours. Work schedule is afternoon shift - 4pm - 12am. Successful candidate must be able to fill in for illness and vacations when necessary.
Requirements
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Material Management Systems
- Ability to operate a forklift
Responsibilities
- Receiving and issuing material
- Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in operating and maintaining a safe and clean work area
- Assisting mine management in fulfilling all of their daily needs
- Handling emergency purchases during other than normal business hours
- Reviewing Open Warehouse Requisitions
- Resolve packing slips and quantity discrepancies
- Cycle Counting
- Handling emergency purchases for mine operations
