Moore Supply Company, a trade name of Hajoca Corporation, is seeking a Warehouse Teammate for their Duncanville, TX location. Hajoca Corporation is a large, privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies, founded in 1858. Hajoca functions in a decentralized environment where each location, known as a Profit Center (PC), is managed as an independent business. A typical PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, operating under unique trade names and offering customized business approaches.

The Warehouse Teammate role is crucial for ensuring accurate fulfillment of customer orders and maintaining warehouse operations. The position requires a safety and service-oriented individual with strong attention to detail. The pay for this role at the Duncanville location is $19 per hour.

Requirements

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stocking and maintaining the warehouse.
• Picking, documenting, and packing customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
• Handling shipping discrepancies per procedures or forwarding appropriate paperwork to the designated employee.
• Identifying nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and storing them in proper warehouse locations.
• Completing necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Operating warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Informing immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensuring security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety, including removing empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris.
• Informing immediate supervisor of safety issues.
• Assisting co-workers in servicing customers.
• Performing all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
• Successfully completing required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Performing other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
