About The Position

Join Our Culinary Warehouse Team – Warehouse Team Member Wanted! Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on an important role in a fast-paced warehouse setting? We’re looking for reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team and help keep our operations running efficiently! What You’ll Do: Receiving & Stocking: Accept deliveries, verify counts against receiving paperwork, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly. • Internal Support: Deliver requested supplies to various internal departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Inventory Control: Review requisitions for proper codes and approval signatures. Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. • Stock Maintenance: Keep shelves organized, check for damaged or outdated items, and ensure products are stored appropriately. • Clean & Safe Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free of debris and safety hazards. • Accurate Paperwork: Complete all related documentation accurately and on time, including stock counts, requisitions, and delivery records. • Measure & Store: Accurately measure and distribute products as needed, and return unused items to proper storage areas following proper procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of lifting and moving products as required
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must speak, read and write English
  • Sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory control and FIFO practices is a plus
  • Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but not required
  • HACCP certification
  • HiLo/Forklift certification
  • Unblemished Driver license or Forklift certification
  • Experience working in high volume warehouse preferred
