About The Position

This is an entry-level, hourly position responsible for distributing merchandise to customers. The role involves verifying merchandise against invoices, loading and securing customer items in vehicles, and obtaining customer signatures for receipt of goods. Additionally, team members are expected to be vigilant for signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, reporting any concerns to management or security. These duties are performed throughout the employee's entire shift, along with other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Minimum of two years prior experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to read English sufficiently to read invoices, repair orders, faxed requests, and similar written materials.
• Basic English language writing skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, necessary to verify quantity of merchandise being pulled or being returned to stock.
• Ability to grasp and lift or otherwise move goods weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted or up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a seven and one-half hour shift, with two fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour meal break.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in a language other than English may be a preferred skill in specific locations where that language is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Distribute merchandise to customers.
• Verify merchandise against pink invoices.
• Load and secure customer merchandise in their vehicles.
• Obtain customer signatures on invoices to confirm receipt of merchandise.
• Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks.
• Promptly communicate potential security problems to store management or store security.
