The position requires a self-motivated, results-driven individual focused on continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Quality to investigate, identify, and implement solutions for inventory issues. The role involves delivering an exceptional customer experience through fast, reliable product assembly, and streamlining operations to improve finished goods availability, material pipeline, equipment availability, capacity, efficiency, execution, cost, quality, communication, and value. The goal is to maximize status, visibility, control, and progress. The successful candidate will be able to speak and write effectively, assimilate information, and make sound judgments based on cost-benefit analyses.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: English & Spanish - preferred

  • Knowledge of computer systems to maintain routings, shop orders, requisitions.

  • Problem Solving (5 Why, DMAC, etc.)
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Preventive Action preferred.
  • Forklift and other PIV experience preferred.
  • Office and warehouse conditions. Job demands may require long periods of sitting, telephone work, and/or computer work, as well as interaction with other people. Normal conditions include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting, driving, and/or traveling.
  • Schedule is Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to identify products and train team members how to do the same.
  • Develop, document, keep current, formally release processes and revisions through QMS, and communicate processes associated with your department.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and maintain readiness at all times, both a secondary (backup) team member and a tertiary (emergency backup), to seamlessly perform your role whenever you are out, or other duties pull you away from your primary responsibilities.
  • Must be willing to flex between various departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Provide team members the required tools and equipment for their success.
  • Understand the shortcomings of team members and provide them with the required training and support.
  • Must be willing to stay late (when necessary) and have an exceptional attendance record.
  • Be the SME (subject matter expert) for your department.
  • Recruit, interview, evaluate, hire, train new team members.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be proficient with all warehouse hardware and software equipment.
