Here at GXO, we’re looking for a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our NHS Supply Chain site based in Maidstone. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, leading and developing your team, and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional results for our customer.

Requirements

Good organisational skills
Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
Good interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Capable of driving mechanical handling equipment

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPI's, resulting in high-performance levels and the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to the customer
Manage a team of direct line reports including delivering team member performance review, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
Ensure compliance to Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safe systems of work
