About The Position

To assist shift supervisors and warehouse manager to ensure all employees are properly trained and are committed to being part of a team environment.

Requirements

• Must be pallet jack certified.
• Must be forklift certified.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to lift cases that weigh up to 25-30lbs and kegs that weigh 160lbs.
• Must be able to work at a steady pace with lots of heavy lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Electric riding pallet jack experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safety is always first in everything that you do.
• Keep all Team Cone value first!
• Always face the direction of travel.
• Slow down and sound horn at all intersections and blind corners.
• Always stay at a safe distance, minimum 3 pallet spaces away, when a pallet is being lowered.
• Fill out your inspection form and perform a thorough pre-trip inspection on pallet jack/forklift.
• Must be a player/coach that works with others to increase efficiencies.
• Must have the ability to help direct and guide co-workers.
• If training new employees, fill out Learning Path form and provide feedback.
• Must always set the proper example for the team.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Must be ready to step in for the shift supervisor if needed.
• Must always wear seatbelt on forklift.
• Must take care of company equipment always.
• Good attitude always.
• Must be clean shaven and have proper hygiene.
• Must be in proper uniform, including steel toed shoes.
• When you make a mess – always clean up after yourself.
• Report all issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
• When overtime is required, either shorthanded or during key holiday periods, no one can leave until all tasks are completed.
