About The Position

The Supply Chain Team Lead (Warehouse) is responsible for leading warehouse operations and team members within the consolidated warehouse while ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow to support manufacturing operations. This position collaborates closely with Supply Chain and Material Planning leadership to drive inventory performance, process improvements, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Associate degree (2-year) or minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certifications.
  • Working knowledge of materials management strategies, MRP systems, and material flow processes.
  • Understanding of supply chain management principles, including: Production planning, Inventory control, Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse operations and Shipping and receiving.

  • Experience in a high-mix, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with cost analysis and Bill of Material (BOM) structures and routing processes.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and successful completion of process improvement initiatives.
  • One (1) year of direct supply chain experience.
  • Three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Crane certification, or ability to obtain certification.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and general computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends, as business needs require.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop employees working within the consolidated warehouse.
  • Analyze material availability and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels and support manufacturing lead-time objectives.
  • Coordinate and schedule training activities for new and existing warehouse employees.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Material Planning Manager and Supply Chain Manager on key inventory and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Support reporting efforts with data analysis, charts, root cause investigations, and corrective action plans.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of inventory visibility and inventory management initiatives.
  • Develop, improve, and support warehouse picking processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead planning activities for biannual physical inventories and conduct detailed inventory variance analysis following inventory counts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
