About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead – Taco Cranston (TCR) is a key operational leader responsible for driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the TCR warehouse. This role ensures seamless execution of daily workflows, including material handling, inventory control, and order fulfillment, while meeting or exceeding established KPIs and customer expectations. The Team Lead provides hands-on leadership, coaching, and development to team members, enforces compliance with company standards, and champions a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety. This position is located in our North Kingstown, RI Warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of warehouse experience
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Proficiency in warehouse operations and equipment handling
• ERP system experience with strong data navigation skills
• Strong decision-making and conflict management abilities
• Effective time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Leadership capability to guide and influence team performance
• Physical ability for repetitive tasks, including standing and lifting
• Flexible schedule availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends)

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree a plus
• 1 year leading team preferred
• Lean 5S certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy in documentation, inventory, and transactions.
• Utilize ERP systems for material movement, scheduling, and shipping; monitor inventory accuracy via ERP and Power BI dashboards.
• Partner with production and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and operational alignment.
• Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory integrity.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; maintain equipment functionality and initiate work orders as needed.
• Address team issues promptly through coaching and escalation when necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.
