About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Lead to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time role involves receiving and stocking cases of beer, wine, and spirits in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can motivate teammates, handle hard work, maintain a positive attitude, and work well within a team. This position offers a variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn both stocking and receiving processes. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
18 years of age or older
Leadership skills
Basic computer skills to use an iPad and warehouse management software
Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines with accuracy
Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

Receive and stock cases of beer, wine, and spirits.
Work with a forklift and scanner.
Review incoming truck schedules and receive assignments.
Use an iPad to create replenishing tasks.
Replenish/stock inventory by hand and with a forklift.
Stock product delivered to the warehouse.
Provide direction and support to teammates.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
Organize product for return to suppliers.
Receive trucks at the warehouse dock.
Collect and print paperwork for delivery trucks.
Unload trucks with a forklift.
Receive product into inventory using the iPad.
Notify the team when product is ready to stock.
Review incoming truck schedule for the next day and notify 2nd Shift of preparations needed.
