The Warehouse Team Associate (TA) II-B is a certified equipment operator responsible for executing tasks in a designated warehouse workstation (e.g., inbound, outbound, shrink wrap, kitting). The TA II supports material handling processes such as picking, receiving, scanning, loading, unloading, staging, replenishing, and shipping. The associate is expected to ensure accuracy, maintain quality standards, and adhere to safety procedures. This role requires certification in operating Power Industrial Equipment (PIE), including forklifts and push-pull attachments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Forklift/PIE Certification required.
  • Understanding of warehouse best practices and safety standards.
  • Ability to interpret SOPs, pick lists, and material documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to work independently or in teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using WMS (e.g., NetSuite, RF Smart) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment to unload inbound shipments and verify accuracy.
  • Move and replenish materials into designated storage locations.
  • Ensure product integrity and compliance with inventory protocols.
  • Maintain orderliness and safety in receiving zones.
  • Use handheld scanners or pick lists to retrieve items accurately.
  • Operate stock pickers and forklifts to stage orders for shipment.
  • Band, wrap, and label pallets or boxes per work order or client specifications.
  • Prepare orders for outbound loading, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Perform basic visual inspections on inbound and outbound goods.
  • Verify accuracy in quantities, packaging, and product labeling.
  • Report product issues, damages, or discrepancies to warehouse leads.
  • Assist in quality assurance processes as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and manual material handling tools safely.
  • Conduct daily PIE inspections using standard checklists.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
  • Report malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and audits.
  • Engage in 5S and Lean practices to maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
  • Cross-train in other warehouse functions and support team needs.
