About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable. The Warehouse Support Crew Member is responsible for maintaining required inventory levels, ensuring orders are correct in terms of specifications, quantity, and quality, identifying stock losses, organizing the warehouse layout, loading and unloading orders, expediting, receiving, shipping, and warehousing all materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience working with Inventory analysis.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.
  • Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.
  • Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.
  • Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.).
  • Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.).
  • Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.
  • Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.
  • Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.
  • Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.
  • Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.
