The Warehouse Supervisor will be on-site for the duration of the Contract and receives tasks from the Project/Warehouse Manager. This role requires the basic knowledge and skills necessary to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work. The Warehouse Supervisor acts as the Contractor's on-site supervisor and Point of Contact (POC) for Government representatives in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. This role provides overall supervision for Contractor employees, including planning and managing the project professionally, allocating resources, managing personnel, and monitoring operation performance. The supervisor takes direction from the Government to ensure customer satisfaction, proper work scheduling for maximum resource utilization, accurate and timely reporting, effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods, and the use of cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled at a fair and reasonable cost. The supervisor will perform spot checks of completed work for compliance with the contract regarding work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines, ensuring work is done properly and efficiently in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
