About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor superintends first-shift warehouse activities and employees, ensuring accurate picking, shipments, and appropriate merchandise handling. The role uses knowledge of distribution center concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals, and performs a variety of complicated tasks with some creativity and latitude. The supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday first-shift position, scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or until work is complete. The role is based at the company’s St. Louis-area location.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience or equivalent.
• At least 2–3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to perform light to heavy physical tasks and safely lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency operating a variety of powered industrial trucks.
• Comfort working in environmental conditions such as heat, cold, noise, and dust.
• Comfort working at heights of 25–30 feet.

Nice To Haves

• Experience picking or shipping products is strongly preferred.
• Eclipse Warehouse Management System experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments.
• Perform operations and safety checks on powered industrial trucks.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols for the department or branch.
• Train second-shift employees on processes and procedures.
• Communicate business plans and departmental goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
