About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards. This role involves managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity in a cold storage environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cold storage or a similar environment is preferred.
• A degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and enforcing company policies.
• Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, proper handling of goods, and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Ensure all employees follow safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and personal protective gear, to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and accuracy.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Leads, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities. Provide reports on operational performance, staffing, and inventory levels.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, is well-maintained and operating correctly. Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues.
• Ensure that products are stored and handled according to cold storage requirements, maintaining appropriate temperatures and product integrity.
