About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. The position is responsible for managing the material usage and effectiveness in plant operations including supervision and training of Receivers, Warehouse Leads, Material Handlers, and Inventory Control Coordinators. This position will interface with purchasing, planning, finance, and operations to ensure cross-functional alignment on priorities. This position will use continuous improvement tools to improve inventory accuracy, timely support of production, minimize scrap, eliminate waste, and increase profitability to better meet customer demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing work experience in materials/production planning, inventory control, supply chain management or warehouse operations.
  • Previous supervisory/lead experience.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions.
  • Excellent computer skills and ERP systems experience.
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
  • Willingness and ability to work 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).

Nice To Haves

  • APICS CPIM or equivalent certifications desired.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely receiving/shipping of inventory and expense items.
  • Manages receiving inspection and shipping operations of materials.
  • Works to implement dock to stock programs.
  • Accurate and timely put away and picking of material.
  • Develop and maintain processes to pick and kit materials for use in production that meets customer requirements.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records of inventories with emphasis on appropriate stock levels identification of excess and obsolete materials, inventory accuracy, and inventory resolution of problematic materials.
  • Works to develop/enhance processes to maximize accuracy of materials and minimize adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain processes to achieve and maintain data integrity.
  • Review and update applicable EUP's, Work Instructions, and department policies.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse physical and system structure.
  • Manages the receipt, recording and storage of materials, supplies, and some work in process.
  • Manages inventory turns in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  • Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth through efficiency improvements, cost effectiveness and product/system quality.
  • Provides supervision and recognition of direct report employees.
  • Ensures employee training is provided for effective performance.
  • Addresses employee issues with supportive documentation.
  • Adheres to Entegris, Inc. policies, procedures and applicable budget requirements.
  • Establishes individual goals and objectives and conducts timely employee communications and annual performance reviews.
  • Represents materials department on continuous improvement project teams, assuring that material flows quickly and efficiently through the operations and inventory turns are maximized.
