The Warehouse Supervisor - Nights is responsible for directly overseeing daily shift operations, including selection, shipping, receiving, cross-docking, interleaving, and trailer loading. This role involves reviewing orders, conferring with various personnel to resolve issues, and supervising the daily activity of warehouse and dispatch Team Members. The supervisor assigns work, monitors productivity to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, housekeeping, product damage minimization, safety, and overall efficiency. Key responsibilities include planning assignments, coordinating and monitoring operations to ensure on-time deliveries, promoting safety, enforcing safety rules, and communicating policies and SOPs. The position also involves conducting start-up shift meetings, ensuring the facility is maintained cleanly and orderly, minimizing product damage, and working to maintain high Team Member morale. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for training, coaching, and providing feedback to Team Members, resolving Team Member relations issues, investigating operational errors, and carrying out disciplinary actions in conjunction with the Operations Manager. They also create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs, confer with management on inventory accuracy and quality control, coordinate shift handoff activities, review and ensure accuracy of timesheets, and inform Warehouse Senior Management of operating issues and recommendations. The role may involve driving vehicles or operating machines/equipment, requires reliable attendance, and adherence to safety and security standards. All other duties as assigned or needed are also part of the role.
