About The Position

Ring Power Corporation, a full-line Caterpillar dealer in North Florida and Central Florida, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. With a mission of customer service, Ring Power has grown to be one of the largest Caterpillar dealers in the Southeastern United States. This role is responsible for maintaining company standards, overseeing warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6 months or less of experience
  • Valid Driver License
  • Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs.
  • Forklift experience and certification.
  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend, speak, and write in the English language.
  • Problem solving ability, established examples/guidance are not always available.
  • Some creativity to generate solutions or improve effectiveness within well-established boundaries.
  • Job is not normally monitored, but overall objectives are clearly defined. Use of discretion in how the work is done, setting priorities and decision making is encouraged. More emphasis is placed on achieving the desired outcome, not on controlling the process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training warehouse employees, including annual performance reviews.
  • Confer with Parts Manager and department heads to ensure warehouse activities are aligned with departmental/corporate goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor all warehouse operational procedures such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, weekly audit reporting, and keeping parts/warehouse inventory current.
  • Monitor all activities associated with WMS, including prioritizing order pulling, delivery times, individual employee pulling data, and performance.
  • Responsible for employee schedules, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
