The Warehouse Supervisor position is within the Voter Registration & Elections Department. The supervisor will oversee warehouse operations, manage inventory, and facilitate logistics for elections operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
  • Three years of experience in warehouse or supply chain management
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, including developing work schedules, approving/processing concerns, and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Prioritizes and schedules work activities, ensures subordinates have necessary resources, monitors work in progress, and provides technical expertise.
  • Supervises warehouse operations and facilities, safeguards contents, establishes security procedures, and implements production and quality standards.
  • Plans warehouse layout, product flow, and product handling systems, and recommends new equipment.
  • Researches, purchases, and inventories commodities, equipment, and supplies, and maintains related records.
  • Oversees administrative processes for efficiency, formulates process documentation, organizes cycle counts, and monitors administrative reports.
  • Manages the issuing, maintenance, servicing, and receiving of equipment and supplies.
  • Organizes and directs physical inventory counts and manages vending equipment acquisition and replenishment.
  • Receives and reviews various documentation, prepares reports and correspondence, and maintains computerized and hardcopy records.
  • Facilitates all logistics related to the elections operation of voting sites, including moving equipment, furnishings, supplies, and materials.
  • Conducts pre-election testing and post-election equipment audits.
  • Serves as site manager for the VRE warehouse space and oversees the department’s inventory of voting site supplies, tables, chairs, signs, voting machines, and equipment.
  • Attends and participates in mandatory ongoing training, including certifications and annual training.

  • Salary Range: $46,441 - $74,796
