About The Position

High Country Beverage, a family-owned distributor, is hiring a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead the order selection team at our Johnstown facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for running the night shift, ensuring the accurate picking, staging, and loading of beverages for delivery routes. You will manage a team, maintain equipment readiness, uphold safety standards, and meet production targets. The schedule offers a consistent Sunday through Thursday overnight shift with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a warehouse lead, shift supervisor, military team lead, or equivalent operational leadership experience.
  • Able to work a consistent overnight schedule and maintain regular attendance.
  • Comfortable operating an electric pallet jack and forklift (certification provided if needed).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for a full shift.
  • Ability to lift 30-pound cases repetitively.
  • Ability to occasionally handle kegs weighing up to 160 pounds.
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully completing applicable background screenings, a post-offer physical examination, and drug screening.

  • DSD or beverage distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the shift-start huddle and guide the night Order Selector team through picking, staging, and nightly production goals.
  • Make real-time staffing and production decisions for the shift.
  • Train new selectors on safe equipment operation, accurate picking with the ring-scanner system, and clean pallet stacking.
  • Provide hands-on support using an electric pallet jack or forklift to meet dispatch deadlines.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized, pallets are staged correctly, work areas are clean, and communicate necessary information to the day shift.
  • Identify and report equipment issues to operations management.
  • Uphold safety standards and address concerns promptly.
  • Partner with the Warehouse Manager and HR on hiring, staffing, coaching, and corrective actions for the team.
  • Meet shift targets for cases-per-hour (CPH), on-time staging, and order accuracy.
