About The Position

Turn 14 Distribution is searching for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to assist in overseeing day-to-day operations. This role is critical in managing a rapidly growing operation, requiring front-line management as well as idea creation and implementation to improve productivity and quality. The 2nd Shift operates Monday - Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years’ experience leading in hospitality, retail, construction or other departments
• OP and Forklift Certified (or ability to complete certification process)
• Positive, winning attitude and leads by example

• Strong record of managing a team that wants to perform
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Makes effective judgment calls when needed
• Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve conflicts

• Proficient computer skills
• Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 or eligible for vaccine exemption for medical or religious reasons. If hired, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination (first dose is acceptable) by the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 1 - 2 leads and 10 – 20 Warehouse Associates
• Approve timesheets accurately and timely via Ceridian Dayforce
• Evaluate staff and write effective performance reviews
• Track attendance and prepare corrective action when needed
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of operations in at least two departments and be accountable for those areas
• Ensure successful preparation of shift by arriving with enough time to receive pass-down from departing supervisors
• Communicate issues to other departments (Customer Support, Accounting, etc.) in a timely fashion
• Ensure 5S is completed daily
• Utilize reports to accurately assess and manage labor demands
