About The Position

Responsible for the daily operations of warehouse facility including maintenance of warehouse, understanding of line operations, and ability to lead warehouse team. This position is part of a career ladder – Warehouse Supervisor I, Warehouse Supervisor II, and Warehouse Supervisor III. The selected candidate will be hired into the appropriate tier based on their credentials and experience.

Requirements

Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 year or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of line operation, warehouse maintenance, and equipment operations.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Strong organizational & leadership skills.
Must obtain/have and maintain a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to work extended hours during peak production times.
Demonstrates the ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Allied Seed’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Oversees operation and maintenance of the facility, equipment and machinery in a safe, efficient, and economical way.
Collaborates with Customer Care team on planning, organizing, directing and scheduling product preparation for shipment to meet sales needs.
Responsible for scheduling warehouse staff assignments to meet sales needs in an efficient and economical manner.
Oversees scheduling of personal time off for employees.
Oversees Environmental Health and Safety and process trainings for warehouse staff and maintains records of trainings.
Responsible for procurement of necessary parts, supplies, machinery and inputs for efficient operation of equipment and product preparation within the facility.
Organizes, maintains, and manages inventory.
Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the facility according to company standards, maintains a safe environment of the facility, and maintains the appropriate professional image.
Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts with Customer Care team.
Follows Allied Seed’s Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
