About The Position

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking a motivated and hands-on 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead our evening operations at the National Distribution Center. This role ensures smooth warehouse performance, efficient order fulfillment, and strong team coordination during second-shift hours. The ideal candidate combines leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain productivity and uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The 2nd Shift works Sunday to Thursday. Since 2012, Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop has grown to 22 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, Texas and Minnesota, expanded our wholesale distribution, and strengthened our online presence. Requirements

2-4 years of experience in warehouse or distribution supervision
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and Support the Team: Supervise 2nd shift associates, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve daily goals.
Ensure Operational Efficiency: Oversee picking, packing, and shipping activities to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor Performance: Track KPIs, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions when needed.
Maintain Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Coordinate Across Departments: Communicate effectively with logistics, inventory, and management teams to resolve issues and align priorities.
Problem-Solve in Real Time: Address operational challenges quickly to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow continuity.
