Requirements

  • AA Degree or equivalent; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years working as a Driver/Material Handler for the Company, or 1 year working as a M.I.T., or 3 years working as an Assistant Retail Manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of courteous and safe driving procedures (including forklift), methods, and techniques in multiple vehicle types.
  • General knowledge of HAZCOM safety procedures, inventory tracking, DOT/HOS requirements, and the battery industry.
  • General skill in organization, establishing priorities, and providing regular team member recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist the branch manager in all aspects and deliver a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales.
  • Ensure the team complies with all legal, regulatory, and organizational standards and procedures.
  • Deliver products, pick up used batteries, plan efficient routes, and ensure proper staging and stocking of vehicles.
  • Coordinate labor to ensure the branch is orderly, safe, and clean.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate documentation of all customer transactions.
