About The Position

RealCold is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct and coordinate the daily operations and responsibilities of the e-commerce team and designated facility to achieve efficiency in processes, safety, and quality. The role involves supervising and coordinating the storage and distribution process, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring a healthy team culture. This is a salary, exempt position.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in operating warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and high reach forklift.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
• Ability to work in a team environment geared towards the common goals of shipping product/customer orders on time and in a safe manner.
• Ability to train, onboard, evaluate staff performance, and coordinate daily task assignments.
• Ability to access and navigate the production facility.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possess a high degree of professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, driven to meet deadlines & commitments, and the ability to work independently and thrive in a positive, solution-oriented culture of accountability.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise between employees, upper management, and clients.
• Strong capacity to de-escalate customer complaints and resolve workplace conflicts or operational bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Promote a Safety Culture throughout the Facility, ensuring everyone is working in a safe environment.
• Ensure all safety rules & regulations are followed at all times.
• Supervise the e-commerce team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Handle the scheduling of the e-commerce team, monitor attendance, and approve time sheets for payroll.
• Supervise and coordinate daily task assignments of the e-commerce team in the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the operations manager to provide timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Instill a sense of urgency with warehouse employees to work efficiently to meet customer schedules.
• Develop flexibility in warehouse employees through cross-training and consistently monitor and improve processes for increased efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure adequate resources are available to achieve food safety objectives and support the SQF system.
• Train new employees on picking orders, unloading, and loading product, and other warehouse functions.
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments, keeping time and production records.
• Track and send reports to leadership or designated plant employees.
• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.
• Ensure accidents are investigated according to company procedures.
• Assist the Operations Manager or General Manager where needed.
• Ensure that Food Safety Compliance requirements for the facility are consistently maintained.
• Work with machinery and material handling equipment.
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization.
• Perform other assigned duties as instructed.
