About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products is seeking a motivated and safety-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and support the success of our distribution teams. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, and promoting a safe and productive work environment. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key leadership role in driving performance, developing team members, and supporting operational excellence within the warehouse. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and is committed to delivering results through teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
  • Prior experience leading or supervising warehouse teams strongly preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Working knowledge of warehouse equipment and material handling practices
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support daily activities of warehouse associates and leads
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and operational efficiency
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback to ensure operational goals are met
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and workforce planning based on operational needs
  • Promote a positive and collaborative team environment aligned with PrimeSource’s BluePrint values
  • Oversee picking, packing, staging, shipping, and receiving operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks
  • Monitor workflow and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors
  • Support inventory control processes including cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning procedures
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
  • Conduct routine safety observations and ensure equipment inspections are completed
  • Address safety concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to achieve productivity, service, and inventory accuracy goals
  • Assist with process improvements and operational initiatives
  • Prepare reports related to performance, productivity, and operational metrics
  • Support additional operational responsibilities as needed to meet business demands
