About The Position

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift to join our team. This position will be based at our Breaker Plant in Grand Prairie, TX. The primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, and Delivery to Manufacturing. In this role the candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supervising 20-25 Team Members across 2 shifts. Overtime will be required as needed. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate’s/bachelor’s degree or 6 plus years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • A Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of successful experience in a Warehouse Manufacturing supervisory experience
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods such as Kanban, VMI, Consignment, etc
  • Proficient in Microsoft Computer skills (Office, Excel)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Team accurately and efficiently receiving material, storing material, picking and kitting material, and delivering material to the assembly lines.
  • The Supervisor will handle Team scheduling and daily assignments.
  • This person will be responsible for warehouse cycle counting, root cause, and will be involved in the resolution of all discrepancies related to the warehouse.
  • This position has significant interaction with every other Department in the plant.
  • Managing/utilizing SAP Manufacturing
  • Overseeing Inventory/Warehouse and Administering COGI Resolution
  • Supervising Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt Resolution
  • Balancing Inventory planning/management background
  • Conducting MRP inventory analysis as well as collecting and analyzing data to present improvement possibilities
  • Participating in development of Warehouse strategy
