About The Position

Bluegrass Supply Chain Services is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations on the AM shift in Findlay, Ohio. The supervisor is responsible for team leadership, safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and overall shift performance. The role includes coordinating workflow, supporting and developing employees, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and meeting quality, productivity, and service goals. The position is full-time and in person.

Requirements

At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory or team lead experience.
At least 2 years of forklift operating experience.
Valid driver's license.
Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Ability to regularly lift 50–75 pounds.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory, shipping, receiving, or scanning.
Background in third-party logistics (3PL), distribution, transportation, or warehousing.
Experience with inventory control, shipping documentation, and trailer verification.
Proven ability to train, develop, and lead warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support warehouse team members on the AM shift.
Coordinate daily workflow to meet safety, quality, productivity, and service goals.
Operate a forklift as needed for loading, unloading, staging, and material movement.
Train, develop, and motivate team members to achieve performance expectations.
Monitor productivity, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Enforce safety procedures, company policies, and proper equipment use.
Maintain accurate inventory movements, scanning, and warehouse system transactions.
Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
Verify trailers and equipment are safe and ready for loading.
Complete shipping documentation and required system updates.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
