About The Position

The Housekeeping AM Supervisor ensures that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas, back of house, and landings meet Omni four-star/four-diamond standards. The role includes inspecting housekeeping work, supporting room attendants with supplies and cleaning, coordinating room-status reporting, and helping maintain a safe and secure environment for the hotel, guests, and associates. The position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to maintain four-diamond-level cleanliness standards.
Ability to work with management on special projects.
Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency as required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to push or pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Ability to communicate via radio and phone as needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
Report needed repairs or discrepancies in guest rooms.
Ensure Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
Assist with cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
Assist in processing AM and PM room-status reports.
Ensure Guest Room Attendants’ linen carts are neat and well organized.
Ensure linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
Keep supply cage stock neat and clean.
Ensure all guest rooms are punched in via phone after completion.
Ensure VIP rooms are inspected as soon as possible.
Prioritize checkout and vacated rooms.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel, facilities, and events.
Help ensure the hotel, guests, and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
