About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Warehouse/Production Supervisor to lead a 1st shift team of 25-30 employees. This role involves guiding safety, quality, productivity, customer delivery, and continuous improvement projects while overseeing daily warehouse and production operations. The supervisor will manage staffing, scheduling, employee development, performance management, and resource planning to ensure operational goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, coordinating production and inventory activities, managing material flow, and using Lean methodologies to improve processes and eliminate waste. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to drive business results and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The position reports to the Sr Warehouse Supervisor and is an onsite role in Mequon, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Four year bachelor's degree in production & operations, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, inventory, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years manufacturing related experience.
  • Working knowledge of capacity and production planning tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Leadership of flexible work teams.
  • Customer service or technical support involvement.
  • SAP business system knowledge.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
  • Experience supervising employee performance, training, staffing, and workforce scheduling.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and drive compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing daily operational priorities, production schedules, inventory movement, and material flow.
  • Production status, operational metrics, and business priorities across multiple teams and shifts.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in resource planning, capacity planning, and labor utilization.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing, warehouse, or order management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and achieve business goals.
