About The Position

Our dedicated manufacturing logistics and supply team ensures that customers and patients receive the essential medicines they require precisely when they need them. By embracing challenges, envisioning new possibilities, and taking decisive action, you will contribute to delivering medicines to the world with greater speed and efficiency. This is a secondment role for 6 months.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of experience; OR a Master's degree with more than 1+ year of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with System Application and Products (SAP).
  • Experience in inventory management concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and projects.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing investigations and CAPA implementation.
  • Skilled in the shipping and receiving of materials and products within a regulated environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to develop and mentor team members.
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Responsibilities

  • Lead people, technology, and financial resources to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and implement potential improvements in processes or products, develop innovative concepts, and take calculated risks to achieve desired results.
  • Recognize development needs, create opportunities for colleagues, and manage the performance of both direct and indirect reports.
  • Oversee work teams, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations, and manage packaging material stores and warehouses per cGMP and EHS requirements.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving operations, supervise storage and dispatch of finished goods, and drive continuous improvement and optimization activities related to warehousing.
  • Manage and monitor the warehousing and freight budget, identify operational and financial improvement opportunities, and collaborate with quality, EHS, and security experts to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare training plans and provide guidance to the team.
