About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor supervises, trains, and develops workgroups and holds them accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective, innovative leadership and fosters productive working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor manages department resources, promotes a positive and team-oriented work environment, and supports employee development through orientation, skills and safety training, evaluations, and coaching. The position is part-time and permanent, with flexible shift hours available up to five days per week. It requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
Management experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and develop workgroups, holding them responsible for safety, production, and attendance.
Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
Implement employee personal development plans as required.
Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
