About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the operational and financial performance of the Distribution Center’s Production Department. This includes managing budgets, workforce planning, order fulfillment, inventory control, and the movement of products and materials. The role involves planning and coordinating the fulfillment and shipment of beauty products, supplies, transfers, and show orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (DOT/FAA, EPA, OSHA). The supervisor also maintains inventory accuracy and integrity, supports employee relations and workforce management activities, and promotes a safe, healthy, and secure work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and enforce company safety, ergonomic, emergency egress, Hazard Communication/Right-to-Know, Soft Dangerous Goods, loss prevention, and other applicable safety and compliance programs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of site-specific procedures and addendums, and monitor compliance through routine walkthroughs, inspections, and proactive reviews of work areas, equipment, and operational processes.
  • Identify safety, compliance, and operational concerns and communicate issues or violations to management.
  • Take appropriate corrective action as directed by management and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining effective cost control by managing labor, wage costs, supplies, maintenance, and other departmental expenses within the established operational budget.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, cost efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness, and make recommendations to management.
  • Assist with employee relations and workforce management activities, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, breaks, tardiness, and absences; reviewing and approving timekeeping records and absence reports; and supporting payroll-related processes.
  • Support employee performance management, including performance evaluations, corrective action, policy enforcement, and recommendations for further disciplinary action.
  • Conduct and participate in regular department meetings and communications with other departments, shifts, and facility leadership to promote effective teamwork, operational continuity, and customer service.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
