About The Position

Directly supervise employees in the Warehouse Department, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include employee training, work planning, assignment, and direction, scheduling, managing overtime, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, addressing complaints, and problem resolution. Maintain accurate inventory records for both in-house and vendor-received goods. Oversee housekeeping in the dock area and manage a safe working environment, particularly in conditions of extreme cold and occasional vibration. Ensure compliance with all safety and policy procedures as specified by Tyson Foods. Additional responsibilities include promoting consistent adherence to product quality and safety processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent OR 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some travel may be required to attend training classes.
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
  • Sponsorship is not available.
  • Must reside in the United States.
