The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse inventory and staff.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least twelve months of experience in distribution is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • Experienced in safely operating forklifts, order picker, reach truck, and pallet jack equipment.
  • Familiarity with use of RF scan guns for picking orders.
  • Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Warehouse Manager with hiring and training new employees.
  • Oversee warehouse staff.
  • Pick product and orders according to route summaries.
  • Create BOLs for outbound transfers.
  • Palletize product after picking, secure it and load it onto trucks.
  • Ensure that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.
  • Train and manage second shift warehouse employees, following standard operating procedures and safety policies.
  • Resolve routine equipment issues.
  • Conduct safety training.
  • Complete required reports (weekly, biweekly, monthly).
  • Lead scheduled meetings with staff and conduct quarterly meetings with direct employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
