About The Position

Provides direction, leadership, and management for Olathe Distribution Center, including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. Supervises within Outbound Operations as part of the departments supervisory team, collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, performing a substantially similar role
A minimum of 2 years of work experience supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staff
Experience and/or training in identifying, developing, and reporting operations/distribution-related metrics
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, OR a minimum of two years; work experience performing a substantially similar role
Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift, with repetitive motion and regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may be required
Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally, using team lifting or material handling equipment for items over 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Ensure that product is picked, checked, and shipped according to established standards and in accordance with current procedures
Ensure productivity and quality standards are met
Determine work procedures, prepare and expedite workflow, assign duties, and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
Ensure crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their jobs
